Rumeysa is the first daughter of Mehmet Sait Uludag. She was born in Sanliurfa in 1993 and spent her early childhood shadowing her father on the farm. Later on, as the family moved to Great Britain in 2007, she continued her education in London. Rumeysa studied Economics, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at the prestigious North London Collegiate School. She wrote a book titled ‘Footsteps on the Moon’ as part of Prince’s Trust Young Enterprise Scheme.
She went onto study Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Biomedical Sciences undergraduate degree from the World’s 4th ranked Russel Group university, UCL University College London. Rumeysa changed her career pathway by completing Masters of Science degree on Innovation and E-business at Birkbeck College, University of London with distinction.
Following her graduation, she gained industry experience in the organic herb sector in London. She is experienced in creating both online and offline brand identities in the global organic herb and spice sector. She is now responsible for the sales and operations aspects of business at Selim Uludag Herbs. Rumeysa travels frequently to trade fairs and client meetings in Europe and North America.
Rumeysa is a marathon runner, passionate cook running supper clubs for charity and a keen photographer.
